How To Make 6 Week Weight Loss A Reality

Losing weight often sounds like a very complicated thing. You have to exercise so many times per week for a certain amount of time and you have to keep your heart rate above a certain level, then you have to start counting your calories and cooking a certain way… While all of that will work, there is an easier, simpler way to lose weight and it can happen sooner than you think with this 6 week weight loss program.

Losing weight boils down to a simple equation, it’s just that people have added on to it and made it much more complicated than it needs to be. If you want to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you take in. That means that through diet and exercise – you can lose weight. If you are burning more calories per day than you are taking in from food, you will lose weight. Your body has to get the energy from somewhere and it will get it from the stored fat in your body. That’s what it’s there for.

This 6 week weight loss program is in some ways not a rigid program at all. It is a matter of improving your daily exercise and your daily diet.

Exercise

To burn more calories per day, you don’t have to spend hours and hours in the gym trying to burn it off – there are many easy ways you can burn more calories than normal.

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Park further away than you normally would
  • Keep a pedometer in your pocket so you can measure how far you walk every day (walking 2000 steps more than you normally do is a good start)

Diet

To eat better, you need to try and avoid fatty foods and foods that are high in simple carbohydrates (sugary foods and white bread) and move to eating more fruits and vegetables and low GI carbohydrates. If you up your intake of fruits and vegetables (at least 5 servings a day) and drink more water, you will find that you see results very quickly.

Keep this up for 6 weeks and see how you feel. The chances are that after just that short time, you will already be feeling better about yourself and will start to see results. If that works out, you might not even need to worry about scary things like looking at weight loss surgery costs.
